Current Olavians  - students and parents/carers

At St. Olave’s we seek to build a supportive community where excellence is both celebrated and sought after; where a broad focus on scholarship and cultural enrichment is underpinned by a strong set of values. All students at St. Olave's are provided with opportunities which nurture and develop their talents; in return, each student is expected to engage critically in the learning process and to develop his or her abilities to the fullest possible extent.

This section of the website is intended for existing students and their parents. Via the links on the left-hand side, you will be able to discover information on all aspects of the school’s operation, from the curriculum on offer at the school, to letters home and examination timetables, to the staff to contact if you have any pastoral concerns or queries.

Education Reform

Readers should note that the UK educational sector is embarking on a period of considerable reform. New qualifications and new methods of assessment are being phased in over the next few years at both KS4 and KS5. As a consequence some cohorts will be continuing with legacy qualifications while others are beginning the new courses. To avoid confusion, this website will reflect the most-recent information and detail the courses currently being offered to students at the various forthcoming entry points (Year 7 entry, GCSE options and Year 12 entry). Please click here for further information, circulated to parents in September 2017.
